We were in last week about some stair runners. I think we decided on the wall manor on the attached.

 

We have been pondering back and forth about ideas. Pictures of the stairs attached, top stair set is 38.25" wide and the bottom set is 38.75".

 

We were wondering about going full width on the stair tread/riser, but we do not know how it could be finished at the top. What would options be?

 

If we do not go full width, we were thinking of going with a 30" runner leaving 4" of space on either side. Only thing we thought on this is dirt/debris collection in the corners.

 

Appreciate your thoughts on this. We want to proceed with install as soon as practical. Wife is pregnant and the stairs are becoming a hazard lol
